SPORTS & RECREATION COMMITTEE  The overall purpose of this committee is to discharge effectively and economically the parish council’s duties in the spheres of sports and recreational activities and to develop policies in these areas.  

The playing field is the home ground for Wollaston 3rds County Cricket teams and MK Rising Stars will be using Emberton as their home ground in 2026. In 2013 it was coveted the best cricket pitch in Northamptonshire (despite being geographically in Buckinghamshire!) 
 
The football pitch is the home ground for the U14's boy's team, the U15's girl's team playing and training on Saturday mornings. 
 
MK Royals Sundays Reserves play their home matches at Emberton on Sunday mornings and 
Emberton United FC will be playing their home  
matches on Saturday afternoon

Tennis Court  
The tennis court at Emberton is primarily for use by residents of Emberton and Petsoe. However, residents from surrounding villages may use the court if it is available. Booking via email is essential and details
